Back to School Night at the Nest.
Since this year's Back to School Night is virtual the other members of our staff still wanted a chance to say hello and introduce themselves to you all.

2021-22 Reopening Plan (https://bit.ly/2WnDzMj)
The DHEC COVID-19 Interim Guidance for K-12 School Operations (https://bit.ly/3mzhWU3) outlines the procedure we use for determining quarantines and is referenced in the plan. We have followed DHEC guidance since the beginning of the pandemic. The BCSD 2021-22 Reopening Plan Frequently Asked Questions (https://bit.ly/3kjjmPX) has additional information on contact tracing and quarantines.

Dear Car Rider Parents,
Car rider loading takes a long time the first couple of weeks of school. Here is what you can do to make the line go faster:
1. Stay in your car and off your cell phone.
2. Put children's names in window (display car rider tag)
3. Pull all the way down as far as you are directed. Your child will be brought to you.
4. Put any car seats on the passenger side of the vehicle (right side where we load). It is not safe for your child or us to be walking around the vehicle.
5. Let your child be loaded into your vehicle and then pull all the way to the end of the line to pull over if you need to buckle children into car seats or seatbelts.
6. Do not PASS unless directed by a staff member to do so.
7. Please be patient and kind. Staff will get you moving as quickly as possible. The above steps will help us all, and more importantly keep the children safe. See you this afternoon!

Greetings from the Nest!

We are so excited to have our Owls back in the Nest tomorrow! As a reminder, parents may NOT walk their students to class this year. Staff members will be placed throughout the building to help make sure all our students get to where they are supposed to be. Thank you for helping to keep our students and staff safe.

Just like last year, breakfasts and lunches will be free to all BCSD students. We do still need parents to fill out the attached Free/Reduced Lunch Applications for reporting purposes. Please do so as soon as possible. Lunch menus for the month are also attached.
