Okatie's Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, August 16, from 2:00 - 3:00. Students will be able to visit their classrooms and meet their teachers.  Parents who are interested in after school programs may sign up starting Tuesday, September 5, and thereafter, Monday through Friday between 3:00 - 5:30. Parents are also encouraged to sign-up as room moms, volunteer for PTO functions and join the School Improvement Council.  Your active support and participation helps Okatie Elementary continue to be a strong and exciting place to learn and grown. Spirits shirts will be available to purchase or order during the Open House at the PTO table.

All families must provide the school with current phone numbers and current proof of residency documentation.

If you have not completed the required updates on Info-Snap yet, please do so before August 16.  If you do not have your Info-Snap code check your email’s spam folder or call data specialist, Mrs. Syneke DeVore at 843-322-7792. She will provide you with the needed code.

Please note, school starts at 7:45. All students are required to be in their classrooms by 7:40.  Students will be marked tardy if they arrive in the front office after 7:40. School will not be in session on Monday, August 21, due to the Solar Eclipse. Please make plans for your students.

We have new speed humps at the entrance to each of the school’s parking lots. Please drive slowly.
