Fifth Grade

Ms. Colleen Heaton: I grew up in California and moved to Bluffton in 2008.  I enjoy spending time with my two daughters.

Mrs. Corey Patel: I have received a double bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am originally from Michigan. My hobbies are watching football, being with my family, baking, and working out.

Mrs. Jacqui German: I received my Bachelors of Science Education from Kutztown University, favorite hobby is reading a juicy novel and spending time with my hubby and two kids.

Mrs. Chelsea White: Graduated from University of South Carolina with a Masters in Teaching degree, originally from the Lowcountry of SC. I am married with one son and a fur son. We enjoy travelling and going in the river.

Ms. Lindsey Mulligan: I graduated from Michigan State University in 2006, and I received my Master’s Degree in Literacy from Lesley University in 2012. I enjoying reading, traveling, cooking, and working out.

Ms. Kit Carson: I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, where I also played soccer, and later received my Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of South Carolina. I’m passionate about education and love helping students grow both academically and personally. I’m the proud mother of two adult children, Austin Ray and Dean, and I feel so fortunate that they both live nearby in Charleston, SC. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking on the beach, swimming at the pool, working out, and watching sports with friends.
