First Grade

Ms. Beth Fries: I have my Bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and I am a highly qualified reading teacher. My hobbies include spending time with family, swimming, and gardening.

Mr. Charlie Belavic:  I have a bachelor’s degree from the Slippery Rock University in Early Childhood/Special Education.  I enjoy playing the guitar and have been playing since I was 11 years old. I love exercising and playing video games with my friends. I also love to cook!

Ms. Jenny Hursey:  I have a bachelors in Early Childhood Education form Kent State University, a Master’s Degree in Integrating the Arts into the Curriculum from Lesley University, and a Gifted and Talked Endorsement for the University of South Carolina.  I enjoy painting, gardening, and playing video games.

Mrs. Peggi Martin:  I have been a highly qualified teacher for twenty years. I hold a BS in Elementary and Early Childhood Education with additional expertise in Reading Recovery and endorsements in Gifted and Talented and Read to Succeed. My husband and I are big Clemson football fans. We have one daughter who is married  and they have a grandson. We enjoy traveling. 

Mrs. Dana Tirado: I received my Early Childhood degree, Masters in Education, and certificate for GATE at Azusa Pacific University.  My hobbies are reading, hiking, biking, and paddle boarding.
