Fourth Grade

Mrs. Chris Lancaster: I graduated from Kent State University in Ohio. My husband Shane met here in the Low Country and we have two boys, Ethan and Aiden. We spend our family time together boating, playing, and watching sports.

Mrs. Virginia Hallex: I joined the educational staff at Okatie in 2020. I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia and attended Georgia Southern University for my bachelors and masters degrees. I enjoy gardening in her spare time.

Mrs. Amanda Hogshead: I am a South Carolina native and love living in the Lowcountry. I enjoy spending time on the water, cooking and entertaining family and friends and cheering on the Gamecocks! I have taught kindergarten, first, second and fourth grades in my 25+ years of teaching.

Ms. Valencia King: I am a Beaufort native that loves running, reading, and word games! I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina Beaufort. 

Mrs. Tina Summers: I have been teaching for over 20 yrs. I am originally from NJ, but have made South Carolina my forever home. I have 2 adult children and am married to my husband Rodney. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and spending time out on the water.

Ms. Archer:  I began working for the Beaufort County School District in 1997 after graduating from Emory & College and teaching middle school for three years in Virginia. My husband, Shannon, and I raised our two daughters in Bluffton and are proud to call the Lowcountry home. I enjoy reading, singing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
