Would you like to send a special shoutout in the back of the yearbook to your favorite owl(s)? Ad space is available for $15! You get to design your own space with your own pictures and backgrounds. Must order by March 1st and have designs submitted by March 8th.

3. After purchasing the ad, you will receive an email with login instructions.

Order Your Yearbook Early

Yearbook Order Flyers went home last week. Pre order your OWL's yearbook by March 15th and your student will get to join the signing party in May and be one of the firsts to see the yearbook.

Our Pumpkins were spotlighted this year in a video from District. Thank you to everyone that took on the challenge this year. Students, staff, and parents love getting to see all their favorite book characters come to life in form of a hidden pumpkin. Lots of creativity this year.

South Carolina Department of Education Releases SC READY ELA and Math Assessment Data & EOCEP and Career Readiness Assessment Results

The South Carolina Department of Education has released the 2024-2025 English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics SC READY assessment data for students in grades 3-8. As the state and Beaufort County School District (BCSD) continue the mission to ensure that at least 75% of students are performing at or above grade level by 2030, these results highlight both successes and areas for continued focus.

College Colors Day

Join us on Friday in celebrations of College Football starting.  We will be wearing our favorite college colors tops, t-shirt, or Jersey with uniform bottoms.  You can also wear a hat, scarf, and or socks. 

School district announces five finalists for 2025-26 Teacher of the Year honor

The finalists are Allison Gallagher, science teacher H.E. McCracken Middle School; Elizabeth Herring, dance teacher at Bluffton High School; Audrey Kaney, a fifth-grade teacher at Red Cedar Elementary School; Alison Lopes, special education teacher at Hilton Head Island Early Childhood Center; and Amy Turner, a fourth-grade teacher at Coosa Elementary School. 

 BCSD announces Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year

Bradley Tarrance, Principal of Robert Smalls Leadership Academy, has been named the District's 2025-26 Principal of the Year. Geneva Young of Lady’s Island Middle School has been awarded the title of District Assistant Principal of the Year.
